4-Life marathon at BayStreet 29/07/07
On Saturday, the 14 Hour Live Marathon “4 LIFE” raised LM45,073 for The Arka Foundation, Dar il-Kaptan, Dar Nazareth, the Ursuline Sisters and the St. Lazarus Hospice Foundation.
Falcar contributed by giving away
seat covers for the cars that were there at the marathon to be given for
people which such money collected went for charity.
The fund raising event held at the Baystreet Complex, St. Julian’s was
broadcasted on One TV, Net TV, Education 22 and Channel 30 between 1000 CET
and 0000 CET. Some Lm100,000 worth of gifts were given out to callers including
six cars and a property valued at Lm 60,000.
A number of leading personalities, including Maltese political and ecclesiastical
leaders, TV personalities, business achievers, singers and other VIPs gave
some of their free time in order to project to the public at large the need
for the latter’s assistance on the day.

Falcar Logo Design Competition 18/07/07
Ms. Victoria Tonna, was the lucky winner of a Kenwood car stereo during a logo design competition organized by Falcar LTD, operators of Falcar Autocentres. The stereo was presented to Ms. Tonna by the Operations Manager of Falcar LTD, Franco Callejja, in mid July.

Dear all, I was very pleased with the number of valid entries in this competition. All entries had character,style and attention to detail, which made the selection process very hard. We did not necessarily choose the best esthetical logo. Our decision was based on the message that the logo had to portray about our company.
Ms. Victoria Tonna entry is vibrant, clean, and dynamic, attributes that make up the core of our business.

Mr. Stephen Psaila, of Zabbar, was the lucky winner of a Kenwood car stereo during a competition organized by Falcar LTD, operators of Falcar Autocentres. The stereo was presented to Mr. Psaila by the Sales and Marketing Manager of Falcar LTD, Jean Paul Sammut, in late March.
